Mutant Powers:
Photokinesis Illusions: the manipulation of light to create illusions and imagery that can be projected like a hologram. However, with this, she/they has/have to see a picture of the image before doing anything. ie. looking at a photograph or videos or anything that is in her/their eye line.
( IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This was the first mutant power that Hope obtained. It started when she/they was/were five years old, but it fully matured and began to over-power her/them, was when she/they was/were six years old, with the stress of her father finding out she/they was/were a Mutant. )
Telepathic Illusions: Although Hope is able to manipulate light to create her illusions, she/they can also cast them telepathically; meaning she/they can alter the perspective of a persons' imagination and create something to her/their liking.
( IMPORTANT INFORMATION: However there are times where Hope will not give a warning; such as during intimate times such as in the bedroom or when she/they feels like teasing her/their partner. Yet she/they can also use them to create distractions and such to keep herself/ themselves hidden from dangerous situations; but with everything, she/they only uses her/their powers when she/they has/have to. )
Mental Scan: Often as a desperate attempt to gain control over a situation does Hope use this. The only time she/they would use this without permission is if the situation threatened her/their life or feels as if she/they need to gather information to blackmail or get her own way. She/they would never use it to seek the truth as she/they felt like that was violating someone's trust in her/them.
( IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If and when Hope uses this power ability, it can often make her/them drowsy and have a complete energy drain; to solve this, she/they has/have energy/protein bars in her backpack, that she keeps with her at /all/ times when she/they is travelling.
Teleportation: To transport oneself instantly from one location to another. She/they is/are able to teleport herself and other people, as long as she/they is/are able to see where she/they is/are going. Her teleportation can often look like dust particles and she/they can often appear like a gust of wind.
( IMPORTANT INFORMATION: There is a defect; from the experiments, she went under as a child which causes Hope to blackout and become weak after teleporting long and strenuous distances; signs that she is about black-out includes; nosebleeds, painful migraines, tingling in her fingers and toes. )
Empathy: Inherited down from her mother Hope is able to interpret emotions, feelings, moods and perceptions of others. It often means that Hope can get a very unique perception of the person she is with, though she tries to never judge a person before getting to know them.
( IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Although Hope has no control over when she uses things, her reactions are often very genuine and because of this she can often get very over-whelmed and something even over-stimulated about even small things. )
Other Abilities:
Accelerated Eyesight Hope processes visual information at an accelerated rate, on the speed that they can see things even when moving at high speed, making them unable to miss a thing, no matter how fast they go. They can see/process visual information in a very short time, see objects when they are moving fast, see things that may be otherwise too fast, allowing them to discern the sight with enough time to react to whatever caused it, etc.
Fighting Instinct: Hope possesses an innate aptitude for fighting in any combat by overcoming limitations and adapt techniques or methods to ensure victory. They adapt perfectly to all factors, achieving maximum efficiency in an offence, defence, evasion, and countering, ensuring optimal success as long as there is the slightest chance. This enables a user to resist fear and pain, maximize and surpass physical boundaries, utilize all of their skills in the most efficient manner, and continuously fight while unconscious. The user's instinct for battle allows them to pick out the strongest opponent, letting them know who exactly they need to fight.

Life in New York City was a sacrifice, something he often hated; especially when it involved missing out on his children's lives; out of his five children it was only Beth and Madison that he really cared about however none of that changed when Hope was born. She was just another mouth to feed. There wasn't a day that went by that he didn't wish she was born. /Mutant Scum./ That's what he called her. Threatened her each time she misbehaved with sending her away; to let scientists experiment on her ... to fix her.
Forcing Hope to believe that her powers were the reason for his hatred but in reality, he just didn't love her. To which a few months after her six birthday; Joseph sent Hope to Trask Industries, where they experimented on her for the next eight years.

An angel amongst most; Hope's mother was the kindest soul anyone would have ever met. Between her constant need to help others and make sure her children ( all of them ) were fed and looked after. She still couldn't even bring herself to confront her husband. However, it was during one of her mission with S.H.I.E.L.D that things went south quickly. During a HYDRA based mission, Alessa was shot dead by a sleeper agent on her team. ( the agent has yet to be brought to justice )
Her mother was the creator of a task force called GEN-X that helped to look for mutant children bring them into the safe environment of SHIELD. The task force was discontinued after her death meaning many mutant children lost their safety net.

Super-Strength: Hunter's strength is at the maximum limit of human conditioning. They are capable of over-head lifting several times their own body weight ranging from 800 lbs to 1,000 lbs level (about 360 to 500 kg) and bench-press ranging from 1,100 lbs to 1,500 lbs level (about 500 to 680 kg). Being the firstborn, Hunter had always had a lot of pressure on him. From a young age, he hid his mutant changes, plucking feathers from his skin, running away when his wings grew. It was a painful, mind-numbing time, and for a few years, he disowned himself from the Buckly household after manipulation and torture from his father.
It was only the year that Hope was born that he came back after his mother feared that Hope would have the mutant gene and begged Hunter to take her away so that Joesph didn't hurt her or at the time baby Hope. His protection only really was taken into action after their mother died, knowing their father would do everything and anything to hurt Hope.

Hope had always been alone through everything that had happened it was her, fending for herself. So when Erik came crashing into her life, she didn’t know what to expect, of course, her walls had been up for so long that it was hard for her to trust anyone, however, the more she spent time with him, the most she started to realise that maybe he wanted to get to know her for who she was. Now, of course, she knew who Erik was, Magneto’s story was something every young mutant was told; especially with how close her brother was to Charles. Yet, there was something different. She could see that Erik had a softer side to him. It wasn’t until their first date that she got to witness it. Though the relationship was very physical and sexual, she knew, she could put her trust in him, and every time Hope could feel herself falling even more. Falling into someone’s arms was something Hope thought she would never experience, but the day she met Pandora, everything changed. After the arrest of her father. Hope being her usual self did some digging around and found some incriminating evidence that could lead her into some trouble. So of course after doing research and finding the best lawyer in Manhattan, who could handle this good of a case, she visited the man. After a meeting, he agreed to help her and give her the protection she needed. It was going to take weeks to solved but eventually. He was sure that they would win.
It was in the final few days of the trial and Hope was sat at her apartment, getting drunk and feeling a little crappy about her existence considering she was the last person her father choose to see before his arrest. Asking for him to come over and check over a few things before the next court meeting; was all professional until Hope made a move. Drunk, lonely, extremely depressed, the one thing she wanted was affection. Within moments she was sitting on his lap and kissing him but moments later, she pulled away; embarrassed and ashamed, she took her to leave and went to her room.
Days later at the trial, the tension between them you could have almost cut with scissors. but it was the final day and all Hope had to do was get through one more day. Win the trial and never have to deal with this again. The rest of the day consisted of speaking the truth, showing evidence and waiting for the judgement to be called. To which by the end of the day, it was and they won.
a week later after the trial was won and the mutant assumed that she wasn't going to hear from Mr Davis anymore as there was no need for him in her life anymore. No matter how much she wanted him in her life, in less of a professional state. But to her surprise on a Saturday evening, her phone began ringing and as she wasn't expecting a phone call this was extremely odd. But looking at the caller I.D and smiled. Answering it, and the rest was history.

The Interview Process:
The Bugle had always been a dream of hers; with their opinions on mutants and she knew it would be such a better place to work than at the NYT ( New York Times ). Arriving there on time, not a minute late, she waited to be sent into Jonah Jameson's office. His name on his door. His voice echoing from within, /it terrified her/. But eventually heading inside. Sitting down, crossing her legs. Calming herself she listened to the older male explain what it was like to work in such a well-established office and how they were a well-oiled machine; Now of course Hope never doubted that, but eventually began to explain why she wanted the job, and what she would bring to the team. No matter who it was, it was obvious from her actions that she had a fighting spirit within her. A fighting spirit that consisted of getting the truth and giving it to the people.
( IMPORTANT INFORMATION: it took a few days for Hope to learn that she had gotten the job at The Bugle, and her original job was a travel columnist that consisted of giving people honest reviews holiday locations. )
The Promotion:
She had been at The Bugle for a year and a half and finally, her name was finally being recognised, that fight within her hadn’t been diminished; if anything it had just gotten stronger. Over the year she had progressed from a travel columnist to writing about crime and unveiling the truth of the darker parts of the city. Now she had always wanted to be a part of Robbie’s investigative team, so that day she had been walking towards it. Everything was down to it, She had been pulled into HR so many times, and there had been multiple times where lawyers had been involved. So of course, the promotion was something Jonah wasn’t too pleased with but Robbie was insistent, not to mention it was a better fit for Hope’s mentality and how she worked since she was very hands-on, and would do anything just to get the story.

Acquaintance's met there: Martin Li ( Mr Negative ), May Parker, Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Mary Jane ( many were met through introductions and friendships built over her time there )
When she first started volunteering:
Hope started volunteering at FEAST during one of her harder times in her life; she had just moved back into the city after the death of her mother. She was cautious and extremely scared of everything; barely able to keep up with her rent. They helped a lot with getting her grief counselling and helping her get back on her feet. She even became good friends with May Parker. The people at FEAST we always there for her so during the outbreak of Devil’s Breath, she turned her attention away from journalism, and became a full time volunteer, helping those affected and making sure the homeless got the medication she needed.
Whenever something bad happens in her life; abuse from her dad ( mental and physical ), her father's arrest. It is her comfort place, the place where she feels like she can be the most relaxed, and a place where nobody would judge her. There were only a few people who knew that she was mutant; Martin Li, and her counsellor. But that’s because they needed to be told.
( IMPORTANT INFORMATION: After discovering all of the accusations of Martin Li and then him being arrested, she stuck around to help May, Peter and Miles; along with everyone else at FEAST get themselves back on their feet, along with getting donations from the contacts she had from the Bugle. )
What she helps out with:
In the beginning she didn’t help with much more than getting people food, safe places, and a bed for the night. The more she volunteered the more vital her roles were. There were occasions where she helped out with those people who didn’t trust much; she knew what it was like. To which also was lucky considering a few of the people got to witness her mutant abilities; FEAST was where she mostly used her empathy, connecting with people. That's all she wanted, to make sure they had a smile on their face.
( IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Hope is wanting to set up her own part of FEAST that would help mutants with physical and noticeable mutations and abilities, have a safe space and get a chance to gain education; knowledge and skills. It would also be in works with Charles Xavier but he would have no decision on whether the mutants join his school or not. )

With each charity she works with a number of things going along with it, such as: going to events, giving shout-outs and just showing support whenever she can, with whatever she can. Whenever she didn't work, Hope can often be found volunteering as she finds helping other people makes her feel better about her life. It was something that was very important to the brunette, giving her everything to them, wanting for the people and animals she donates too. Thanks to her job at The Bugle, she was able to do a lot of important things that would help lives in the city. They were all something she was very passionate about. The mutant would never support something that she wasn’t passionate about, as she felt it was counter-productive.
